This English company produced only two 9.5mm cameras before World War II and only two 8mm cameras after the war. This was their second pre-war model.
For 60 years Pathe offered an amazing variety of 9.5mm cameras. It all started in 1923 with the Pathe-Baby. The camera shown has the spring wound motor that would be offered three years later.
The Coronet company only produced three motion picture cameras of which this was the second model and first to have an Anastigmat lens.
This third version of the National model from 1955 only varied from the first two by offering a faster version (ƒ1.9) of the SOM Berthiot lens.
This unique pre-World War II camera was made of Bakelite, one of the first plastics, and incorporates several Art Deco elements.
In 1926, the Motocamera was the first Pathe to have an internal clockwork motor rather than a hand crank.
Pathescope was the British distribution arm of Pathe who produced several camera models under this brand name including the PAT in 1953.
First offered in 1932, this camera only used a pinhole device rather than an actual lens.
